“A blind person can see the red flags on this team.. Work ethics questions, never happen on good teams.. Preparation commitment questions, never happen on good teams.. Being late for meetings, never happen on good teams. Late/skipped treatment never happens on a good team..the franchise QB (Anthony Richardson) was taken out of the game..on 3rd down..in the red zone..because he was tired…in the NFL,” McAfee wrote. .
“That’s literally the only thing you should tell someone (who knows the ball) and they can tell you everything about this team…”
He wrote that if the franchise quarterback was tired and left mid-game, there would be an “immediate response” that the team “had no chance.”
“And to no one’s surprise… that was the reaction of everyone who had ever played/coached the game before. But… Colts blogs and fans who have been covering the Colts from 2020 until recently knew better than everyone… “They started attacking me personally and tried to kick me out of town.” McAfee continued:
BAKER MAYFIELD’S five touchdowns keep BUCS’ playoff hopes alive against PANTHERS.
“When I said Joe Flacco gives himself a better chance to win than AR right after the tapout. I would have said that whatever backup QB we have on the roster. That’s something the face of your team can’t do. You can’t do that. And in the larger sense, it’s a locker room issue. It’s an indicator of the loser attitude that’s spreading throughout the building. People built it.
“I don’t know how to fix it… I don’t think it’s a light switch or anything. “Okay, now we’re pros” But… maybe so, but what do I know?
“Oh wait…..I wonder how this will turn out. I knew that too.”
McAfee added that he will not be renewing his season tickets and hopes the team returns to its winning ways.
“As a multi-year season ticket holder (not renewing).. and as someone who has actively tried to be an addition to this beautiful city every day.. I hope they become a good franchise again.. This city deserves it.. OGs Colts building In the , they deserve it (equipment managers, trainers, ticketing, publicity, sales). On the other hand, the players/coaches in that building deserve it no matter what happens to them and their professionalism got you another early vacation. Probably qualified. This is probably what most tramps expected.
“I don’t speak for the city.. and I don’t speak for all former Colts players because I was just a punter.. I’ve been named to the HOF three times now, but still.. I speak from my own perspective.. I’m better than this group. I have never seen a group waste more opportunity/talent/money.”
