Paris Paralympic Games 2024 Day 7, Live Updates: Archer Harvinder Singh has made it to the semifinals of the men’s individual recurve open, taking India a step closer to winning a medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Harvinder won his quarterfinal with a comfortable 6-2 win over Colombia’s Hector Julio Ramirez. He will now take on Iran’s Mohammad Reza for a place in the final. Earlier in the day, world champion Sachin Sarjerao Khilari won India’s 21st medal at the Paris Paralympics after winning silver in the men’s shot put F46 event. Five more Indian Paralympians, including Harvinder, will have a chance to win more medals later today. Dharambir, Pranav Soorma and Amit Kumar Saroha will compete in the men’s club throw F51 final later in the day. Sakina Khatun will also be looking to add another medal to India’s tally in the women’s 49kg powerlifting event. (Medal counting)
