Oregon football coach Dan Lanning has the Ducks up 10-0 after the team’s 39-18 win over Maryland on Saturday.
But one reporter thought it was a perfect opportunity to ask Donald Trump how his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris affected the locker room and his staff.

“I understand you mentioned gun violence last year,” the reporter said. “A decision has been made in this country that I am sure will impact not only many of the players in your locker room, but also the women in your life and your staff.
“What was the mood in the locker room and across the team after the results came out? And did it spark a ‘real’ conversation?”
Lanning gave a very patriotic answer.

“Our people just go to work. Obviously gun violence is something I’m passionate about, but our people stand in line and go to work every day,” Lanning said.
“I’m happy for the country we live in, I’m definitely proud to be an American, and I’m excited about the future of this country, but I’m not one to get into politics.”
Harris held Oregon’s eight electoral votes while Trump wrapped up typically red states and took Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada by 312 votes. Harris received 55.26% of the vote in the Emerald State.

In total, Trump received more than 74.6 million votes. Harris received more than 70.9 million votes.
