Gotham Knights could be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, according to the developer’s resume.
As spotted by Doctre 81 (found by Universonintendo), the developer who claims to have worked on Gotham Knights listed games for two unannounced platforms on his resume.
The first of these is expected to be for the Nintendo Switch due to the game previously being rated for the Nintendo console. However, another “unannounced platform” is likely to be the Nintendo Switch 2.
Gotham Knights suffered performance issues on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles at launch, leading many to believe a Nintendo Switch port would be impossible. The Nintendo Switch version of the game may have been ported to Nintendo’s unannounced console, with the Nintendo Switch 1 version quietly being cancelled.
Nintendo has yet to officially reveal the Switch sequel, but the company has confirmed plans to reveal it during the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2025.
In the absence of any official news, numerous alleged leaks have surfaced claiming to show off the console in various states. The first images of Nintendo’s Switch successor surfaced online in September, showing a design not too dissimilar to the company’s current-generation console.
Then, earlier this week, images of the Switch 2’s internal hardware components surfaced on Reddit. If accurate, the image appears to confirm previous hardware specs rumors suggesting the new console will once again be powered by Nvidia hardware.
