Obsidian Entertainment is going all out for 2025. The developer is preparing a sequel to The Outer Worlds 2, another ARPG, while Avowed has a more magical feel. It looks fresh and exciting, and it’s the kind of magical fun the world needs. Spells, weapons, swords, and axes are the core of this wonderful semi-open world release.

When is the release date for Avowed?
Avowed is released on February 18th. This means that the full release date is almost here.
February and March are always competitive gaming months. Businesses are keen to take advantage of the quiet January and post-Christmas lull. If you check the calendar, you’ll see that Avowed is just a few days away from Valentine’s Day. This makes a perfect late gift.

Avowed doesn’t have a specific release time yet, so it will most likely release at midnight.
Few games have their own launch window. The Avowed also appear to be moving in this direction, unless Obsidian steps in and ruins my theory. So you can prepare for midnight in your area.
New Zealand users will receive the usual first access benefits due to time differences. Block social media until Avowed is installed and ready to use the format.
All authorized platforms
Xbox Series X|S and PC are currently the only platforms you can find Avowed on.
Avowed is published by Xbox Game Studios. Microsoft exclusive titles. The 2025 gaming landscape is so bizarre that we can’t rule out a release on PS5. Exclusivity means a lot less things like Sony releasing exclusive games on PC than it used to, and PlayStation and Xbox crossovers are only getting stronger.
There are many reports that Hellblade 2 and Gears of War are coming to PS5. There are also rumors that Halo is dropping. If this is all possible, an Avowed PlayStation port doesn’t seem beyond the realm of possibility.
