Two-time Olympic medalist Nichelle Prince, from Ajax, Ont., scored her first goal for Kansas City in the fourth minute against the Washington Spirit, as the Current won 3-0 to secure a 2024 NWSL playoff spot. The Canadian international forward was traded to KC from the Houston Dash earlier this year in exchange for forward Ceci Kaiser and a 2024 national team slot.
