What are the major storylines of the 2024 NFL training camp?
It’s worth noting the performances of first-round rookie quarterbacks, including Chicago’s Caleb Williams, Washington’s Jaden Daniels, New England’s Drake May, Minnesota’s JJ McCarthy, Atlanta’s Michael Penix Jr. and Denver’s Bo Nix.
Looking at the contract situation, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Cowboys wide receiver Ciddy Lamb and 49ers receiver Brandon Ayyuck are all likely to sign new deals in the coming weeks, or else the slump will continue.
As always, there’s the hotly contested QB battle between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields in Pittsburgh. Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell in Las Vegas are also worth watching. Meanwhile, May, Nix, McCarthy and Fenix will all be trying to cram their presumed starters into camp as much as possible, and here’s the wild card: Giants’ Daniel Jones versus Drew Lock.

DeMeco Ryans: CJ Stroud has grown as a leader.
“I think C.J. has done a really good job this offseason as a leader working with the guys, because he knows he’s not working alone, he’s finding ways to get the group together and work together,” Texas coach DeMeco Ryans said Thursday. “That’s so important, especially with timing in the passing game with the receivers and the quarterbacks.
