Nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards were revealed today. Beyoncé leads the way with 11 nominations, followed by Charli xcx, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone with seven nominations each, and Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift with six nominations each. Record of the Year nominees included Taylor Swift with The Beatles, Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Charlie xcx, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Chappell Roan and Post Malone. Album of the Year nominees include André 3000, Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli xcx, Jacob Collier, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift. The CMA has announced the inaugural performers for the 58th annual CMA Awards, airing November 20 on ABC. Co-host Luke Bryan will perform his hit song ‘Love You, Miss You, Mean It’, while first-time host Laney Wilson will perform ‘4x4xU’. Post Malone performs “Yours,” a song inspired by his daughter, Shaboozey performs a medley of his hits, and Dierks Bentley joins Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and Ashley McBryde in Tom Petty’s classic Play “American Girl.” He is also planning to go on stage. Post Malone and Chris Stapleton will come together to perform “California Sober” and perform together for the first time, while Thomas Rhett and Teddy Swims will perform a mashup of their hits.

Kevin Jonas Sr. (aka Papa Jonas) has released his debut Christmas EP. Ready Set Glow – Holiday Collection. Kevin’s wife, Denise Jonas, lends her vocals to select tracks, including a heartfelt duet titled “Ready Set Glow.” The EP also features a co-write by Nick Jonas, which he wrote when he was nine years old. Kevin said, “35 years ago, I promised my wife, Denise, that we would record and release a Christmas album, and now that album has finally become a reality.”
This past weekend Nelly celebrated his 50th birthday and Ashanti threw a special party for him at TAO in Las Vegas. ET reports that Ashanti said of Nelly, “Having a soulmate who is my person, my best friend, my protector is honestly priceless. You know, it’s an amazing feeling. I don’t think the universe is like that.” Make no mistake about it.” Nelly said Ashanti was “a great person and a great mother” and was very grateful to her friends, family and wife.
