Rise of the Ronin is set to receive new features and missions from developer Team Ninja two months after launch. The news was announced through a post on the PlayStation blog.
Team Ninja game producer and director Fumihiko Yasuda revealed in a blog post that the studio will be adding new content to the game this week. This new content includes new alliance missions, level synchronization, and more.

New and expanded content
- Five new Alliance missions have been added.
- When playing Midnight World, you can choose to have public order deteriorate again.
- Level sync selection feature has been added to Soul Covenant missions.
- Two new set bonuses have been added to Midnight difficulty.
- Added Dojo training partner.
- Adds martial arts skill type bonuses and increases target score limit.
Gameplay Improvements
- If you equip the same type of weapon on Weapon 1 and 2, the number of styles can be expanded to a maximum of 6.
- The specifications have been changed so that special equipment is provided without the player having to confess.
- We changed the specifications so that greetings with characters after a breakup will return to normal over time.
- Adjusted to make selecting asynchronous characters easier.
Rise of the Ronin is currently available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
