John A. Donnely of DC Fire and EMS announced at a Thursday press conference that almost 30 bodies have been recovered since commercial plane collided with military helicopters. Donnely added that the authorities do not believe that there is a survivor from an accident.
“We recovered 27 people on the plane and one from the helicopter,” he added. “Despite all these efforts, we are now at a time of conversion from rescue to recovery.”
Donnelli said, “The district office of the medical inspector has made it reunite with the loved ones of this body.” “And we will continue to find and collect all bodies. We reunite with loved ones.”
Muriel Bowser, a DC market speech at the same press conference, thanked the first response to the “very cold” river to recover the body and find the survivor.
