Stowell joked that probably no one would be safe. NCIS: Origins“We could go Shakespearean and start eliminating everyone, Game of Thrones style. But it would be a real shame to lose (everyone).”
Besides questions about Lala’s future, what everyone wants to know is whether or not Gibbs will ever meet his colleague. The chemistry between Gibbs and Lala is undeniable, but does this mean it will definitely be explored on the show?
“At this point we are only a few months removed from the loss of Gibbs’ wife and child. Even if those feelings are creeping in, he’s probably trying to quell them and feeling like he shouldn’t have those feelings,” Stowell explained. us. “If his wife and daughter were still alive, he would have been with them. “It’s only because of their deaths, their murders, that he blames himself for being there and interacting with the people he was with.”
The actor pointed out how “aware” Gibbs and Lala are of the obstacles standing in the way of their potential romance.
“The confusion he caused is (clear). “(This week’s) episode was a great example of Gibbs and Lala being physically intimate for the first time and having to work together,” he continued. “That’s where their bond is formed. When you go through an experience with another person, especially one that requires you to overcome and succeed in a particular endeavor, it can become a memory that creates a true bond for both of you. That incident could be a catalyst for more.”
