Elon Musk announced that he will pay up to $1 million per day to Pennsylvania voters who sign America PAC petitions through Election Day.
The petition asks signatories to support freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.
“One of the challenges we face is how to inform people about this petition. Because legacy media won’t report on this.” Musk spoke Saturday at an event supporting President Trump in Pennsylvania. ”Not everyone uses X. So how do you tell people about X? “I think this is going to be a real success.”
The tech giant, which publicly supported the former president’s White House bid after the assassination attempt in July, immediately chose an audience member as the first recipient of the award after the announcement.
“The only thing we’re asking for a million dollars is for you to be the spokesperson for the petition,” Musk told the winner.
Musk kicked off a campaign event for former President Trump in the Keystone State on Thursday, tracking down undecided voters in the crucial battleground.
Lawmakers like Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) have acknowledged that entrepreneurs can appeal to demographics that Democrats have a hard time reaching.
“Most endorsements don’t really matter in this business, but Musk is… incredibly popular and appeals to a demographic that Democrats are struggling with,” Fetterman said earlier this week.
Musk has served as a “megaphone” for the former president’s thoughts, tone and rhetoric on social platforms such as X, which is owned by the tech billionaire. Since July, Musk has personally donated at least $75 million through his PAC to support Trump’s re-election bid.
Musk also recently pledged to give voters in battleground states outside of Pennsylvania $47 for petition signature fees and $47 for referral fees.
