Music mogul Quincy Jones, whose career spanned more than 70 years in the industry, died Sunday night at the age of 91, his publicist Arnold Robinson confirmed to Fox News Digital.
Jones was surrounded by his children, siblings and close family at his home in Bel Air, California. The cause of his death has not been determined.
Robinson provided the following statement from the Jones family:
“Tonight, it is with great hearts that we share the news of the passing of our father and brother, Quincy Jones. Although this is a tremendous loss for our family, we celebrate the great life he lived. We know that there will be no more, and we will miss him dearly as he did, and we take comfort and immense pride in knowing that the love and joy that was the essence of his being was shared with the world through all that he created. . Through his music and infinite love, Quincy Jones’ heart will forever beat.”

Robinson said no further details surrounding Jones’ death would be released as the family requests privacy “during this time of great mourning.”
