It’s no surprise that Disney’s latest foray into the live-action space has resulted in a remake of the animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Of course, remakes aren’t inherently bad, but this latest Marc Webb project may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Many remakes have been criticized for lacking the magic and charm of their animated counterparts. While that may be true in some cases, Snow White seems like a remake with that in mind, and the movie hasn’t even been released yet.
Not only does the film seem to go against what made the 1937 film so memorable, but the decision was made to delay its release until 2025, which isn’t usually a good sign.

It’s perfect for the characters to go beyond the love story, but when filmmakers remake classic stories primarily based on the idea of romance and an intense love story, not keeping the focus of the remake on the romance only weakens the content of the story. The film was released in 1937.

It may not be Zegler’s fault that she was cast, or it may be a larger problem that relies on Disney, but the fact that the Mouse House cast a Colombian instead of a white actress when the movie was titled “Snow White” and not “Off White” It’s true.
Destroying the character and race that Snow White is supposed to be is almost an insult to the character. She’s a great actress, but this wasn’t the vehicle for her.

Zegler did herself no favors by practically spitting on the 1937 film’s legacy, and she and the filmmakers decided to not only create a love story, but also add (mostly) CGI dwarves instead of real actors.
Moreover, director Marc Webb of the ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ duo has been silent on the radio about the film and has apparently been tapped to direct a Bermuda Triangle movie. It’s probably <백설공주>It’s probably because they know it’s going to suck.
