Indian national cricket team fast bowler Mayank Yadav has been hit hard. According to a report in IANS, the fast bowler, who consistently clocks above 150 kmph, will reportedly be out of action for around three months.
Mayank Yadav made his debut for the India national cricket team in the recently concluded T20I series against the Bangladesh national cricket team. The Pacer has had some great outings with the ball in the three games he has played for the team.
Mayank Yadav has been ruled out of the four-match T20I series against South Africa.
Mayank was on fire with the ball in the series and took four wickets as India registered a 3-0 series win over Bangladesh. He was then expected to be a part of the Indian national cricket team for the upcoming four-match T20I series against the South African national cricket team.
However, Mayank was not named in the squad for the series as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that the fast bowler would miss the series due to injury. The coordinator is currently housed at BCCI’s newly established Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.

“He came back here because of another problem. This problem could lead to him being sidelined for three months. Most of it has to do with the back, which isn’t very clear. But it’s also something that’s believed to keep him out for quite some time.
“The way he got here, we’re initially expecting him to be out for two or three months, maybe longer.”
