Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby has established himself as one of the best players at his position in the NFL over the past few seasons. During the current offseason, the team offered him a salary increase for the upcoming campaign in a rare move by league standards, and Crosby now wants to stay with the Raiders for the rest of his career.
Crosby wants to spend all of his NFL years in Las Vegas.
“No offense to LeBron and his friends. I won’t take some heat on them, but I took the easy road to travel. I do not think so… “I will live as a radar for the rest of my life.” @CrosbyMaxx About his loyalty to the Raiders organization. pic.twitter.com/f8ZIqGsKg1

Selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Crosby had 10 sacks during his first season and finished second in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting. He got even stronger in 2022 and 2023, starting every possible 34 game while amassing a total of 27 sacks over two years (he has never missed a game in his five-year career).
He’s part of the Raiders’ foundation, a cornerstone who might just be the current face of the franchise. And based on comments made during an appearance on the Jim Rome Show on Friday, he wants to be a part of the organization forever.
The players who inspire me are Kobe and Jordan, who stayed in the same place and won in the same place. So don’t attack people like LeBron and his friends. I’m not going to take some heat on them, but I know they took the easier road of travel and that’s not really how I see it… Going through the ups and downs and struggles will make it that much sweeter when I do win the Super Bowl.
Raiders looking for second winning record in eight years

The Raiders finished 8-9 in 2023, the sixth time in the past seven years they have finished with a sub-.500 record. But they expect that to change in the coming year. With last year’s interim head coach Antonio Pierce hired full-time, Crosby has made decisive moves to shape the team.
Las Vegas doesn’t get much love from sportsbooks, with a projected winning percentage of just 6.5 for 2024.
