Martha Stewart is getting real.
The lifestyle expert admits in the trailer for the new Netflix documentary ‘Martha’ that she cheated on her only husband, Andrew Stewart, during their decades-long marriage.
In the trailer, the 83-year-old says: “Young women, take my advice. If you’re married and your husband starts cheating on you, he’s a bad guy.” “Get out of that marriage.”
“You’ve never been in a relationship before?” We hear producers speaking to home and garden experts.

“Yeah, but I don’t think Andy knew anything about it.” Stewart answered.
The new documentary covers Stewart’s marriage, growth in the lifestyle industry, and legal troubles.
“What does it mean to be the first female self-made billionaire in history?” Stewart rhetorically asks himself at the beginning of the trailer before laughing.
She added in the trailer that while her career was “considered crazy” as it came together, “it worked.”

“I am strict, demanding and all the good things that make a successful person,” she added.
Someone in the trailer said that while these qualities are admirable in a businessman, Stewart was labeled a “b—“.

“It all inspired me tremendously.” Stewart admitted to being called a b—-.
“I don’t think Andy knew that.”
Stewart, a former model, worked as a stockbroker before starting a catering business in the 1970s and publishing her first cookbook, “Entertaining,” in 1982. Afterwards, she published more cookbooks and began appearing on television.
Her magazine, Martha Stewart Living, published its first issue in the winter of 1990.
But at the height of her success, in 2004, she was indicted and found guilty on several counts, including conspiracy, securities fraud, and obstruction of justice. She served five months in a minimum security federal prison.
“I was a trophy for these idiots,” Stewart claimed in the documentary. “He was taken to solitary confinement. No food or water. Those prosecutors should have put him in Cuisinart to excite him.”

She said she had to “crawl out of a hole” professionally after getting out of prison, but the lifestyle icon continues to remain relevant even in her mid-80s, including her friendship with Snoop Dogg and posting thirst traps on social media. We wish the brand continued success.
“What is more important? Marriage or career?” She appeared in a documentary.
When the producer told her, “You tell me,” Stewart responded, “I don’t know.”
In the trailer, she says, “Cookie-cutter houses and cookie-cutter lives weren’t for me.” “I could have just been a miserable housewife, but I didn’t let that happen to me and I’m so happy I didn’t.”

The former couple married in 1961 and divorced in 1990. Their only daughter, Alexis, 59, has followed in her mother’s footsteps as a radio and TV presenter, including on her own brand.
In a 2020 interview with People magazine, Stewart admitted that the divorce was difficult for her.
“Getting divorced was terrible for me, because we were the first in our family to get divorced,” she said. “What we haven’t talked about since the divorce is even more painful, but I am very strong and very motivated to get on with life.”
‘Martha’ will be available to stream on Netflix on October 30th.
