Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Luis Castillo suffered a left lower-body strain in the fourth inning of Sunday’s away game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The right-handed pitcher allowed five hits, one walk and two runs while striking out three over three innings. Castillo appeared in 210 games (all starts) for the Reds (2017-22) and Mariners, posting a 73-76 record and a 3.55 ERA.
