Manchester United could be getting closer to signing transfer target Milos Kerkes, given the latest updates on the player’s professional life.
With Bournemouth sitting seventh in the Premier League, Kerkes has attracted the attention of a variety of elite clubs following his impressive performances in the high-flying league.
The Peoples Person previously reported that Liverpool and Manchester United were competing to sign the 21-year-old.
More recent reports have claimed that Real Madrid have joined the fray, meaning Kerkes has made a huge impression on Europe’s elite.
Last week, Fabrizio Romano explained that United’s interest in Kerkes appears to be more concrete than Liverpool’s, perhaps a sign that Ruben Amorim may turn his attention to the defender in the upcoming transfer window.
Yesterday, Romano issued another important update regarding Kerkez’s situation.
“Bournemouth LB Milos Kerquez has signed with Pali Ramadani’s Ryan Sport as a new agent from 2025,” Romano posted on X.
“He is definitely a player to watch. Manchester United are reportedly one of the top clubs following his progress.”

Kerkes has shown a new side to Bournemouth this season. He won 58% of his total ground duels, completed 82% of his passes, and averaged 1.3 tackles and 4.4 ball recoveries per game. (Sofa Score)
The Hungarian’s talent is not only a plus for United, but also why the club needs a proper left-back.
With Luke Shaw out injured and Tyrell Malacia struggling to settle down after returning from a long-term injury, right-back Diogo Dalot was moved out of his natural position and used on the left.
It therefore makes sense for United to pursue the young and intelligent Kerkes as a potential long-term solution.
With the January transfer window opening in just a few hours, United fans will soon find out whether Amorim can secure an exciting new signing like Kerkes to turn United’s season around.
