Manchester City travels to Liverpool after experiencing another slump. This time, after leading 3-0 in the 75th minute of the first half, they drew 3-3 with Feyenoord.
The Premier League champions will make it six consecutive games without a win away to Anfield on Sunday, following a five-game losing streak with a draw on Tuesday night.
That draw came despite Arne Slott’s former side Feyenoord leading 3-0 with 15 minutes left at the Etihad following Erling Haaland’s brace and Ilkay Gundogan’s strike.
Anis Hadji-Moussa and Santiago Jimenez scored twice in seven minutes to take the lead 3-2 and end a difficult Champions League draw.
Ederson then made the odd decision to rush out of the box and miss the ball completely with his header, allowing Feyenoord to equalize through David Hanko.
Hancko’s leveler came as Feyenoord turned the game on its head and secured a point against Manchester with just a minute left in normal time.
Remarkably, this is the latest time a team have scored three or more goals in the Champions League before missing out on the title, meaning City have conceded two or more goals in six consecutive games for the first time since 1963.

Hundreds of Feyenoord fans chanted Slot’s name at the Etihad while also belting out You’ll Never Walk Alone.
This comes after Slot spent three years in charge of the Rotterdam side, helping them secure their first Eredivisie title in six years in 2022/23.
Pep Guardiola’s side, who have struggled with injuries and a lack of depth despite lavish spending, will now travel to Merseyside this weekend.
Liverpool face Real Madrid on Wednesday night, but regardless of the result of that tie, they remain in much better form than their Premier League title rivals.
Slott suffered just one defeat as manager, a 1–0 loss to Nottingham Forest. The Dutch have won 16 times and drawn one of their 18 matches.
Manchester City are currently without Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Jeremy Doku, John Stones and Oscar Bobb due to injury, with only Doku and Stones expected to be available on Sunday.
