Prewett, 28, gave birth to a baby girl named Hosanna on Monday, January 20, as she took to Instagram on Sunday, January 26. “Hosanna Rose Troutt 🩷 1.20.25,” she simply captioned the series.
Troutt, 28, was also seen throughout the snap, lovingly cringing at Prewett’s face as he nursed the couple’s baby and posed for several photos with his girls. Troutt shared the Instagram post through his account at the same time.
Prewett announced her pregnancy via Instagram in August 2024. “We are pregnant!!!!!!!” she captioned the photo of herself, holding up an ultrasound image to show off her baby bump. “Baby Trout we are so ready for you and can’t wait to meet you.”

Later that month, Prewett explained that the couple, who tied the knot in October 2022, began “trying” for a baby when they found out they were expecting.
“We said we don’t want to put pressure on it. We don’t know what this journey is going to look like,” she told her “Stay True with Madison Prewett Troutt” podcast. “Again, we didn’t expect to be able to get pregnant. We have walked our friends through many difficult things.”
The pair noted that Prewett was “very surrendered” and “hopeful” that she would be pregnant, but her positive test came as a surprise because they “didn’t think they were hardcore.”
She recalled taking the test. “I don’t know why my heart didn’t go there.”
While Prewett was “shaken” when she discovered she was pregnant, she decided not to tell Troutt right away. He decided not to speak to Troutt right away because he was preoccupied with his last week of work as youth minister at Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.
“So I had in my mind, ‘Okay, I’ve got to keep it cool. I’ve got to focus on showing up at church and serving all week,” she said. “And what I’m going to do is I’m going to order a really cute little gift to present to him when we tell him we’re pregnant. It will take a few days anyway. So everything will be fine. ‘”
She added: “I took that time to pray and process with Jesus during the week. Of course, I could have told Grant a little sooner, but I wish it had worked.”
Troutt revealed how Prewett shared the news with him. “The first thing I see is this wooden frame and it says, ‘We’re having a baby.’” And I look down and it’s a pregnancy test, and it says ‘pregnant,’ and right next to it is this little baby Jordan shoe, and it’s a Jordan shoe. “It’s the same type of shoe in the back, but in my size.”
Troutt confessed that he “couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” and described it as “one of the most surreal moments of my life.”
