Thousands of portable communication devices were blown up in Lebanon on Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple media reports.
The Guardian reported that explosions were heard in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut and in the south Lebanese cities of Nabatieh, Tyre and Saida.
The blast appears to be the second part of an operation that began with the explosion of a Hezbollah caller on Tuesday afternoon, killing at least 12 people and wounding about 3,000.
