Michael Richards‘The Laugh Factory ban may be coming to an end. Because if the owner truly sees the error of his ways, he’s open to bringing him back.
Jamie Masada — owner of Hollywood’s iconic comedy company — told TMZ. The infamous 2006 rant. Michael was banned from the club for making racist comments, as they believe hate speech will not be tolerated.
However, Masada said Michael could return to the arena because he believes in second chances and does not want to hold a grudge. But this is only possible if he is a truly reformed person.
As we reported… Richards said: people he is I have no intention of returning His new book and public appearances have put him back in the spotlight, and he insists that despite his reprehensible rants, he has never been a racist.
Worth noting… Richards says in his book that both he and the heckler he found unfunny “ended up falling through the floor.” Masada calls this BS.
Jamie said he was at the club the night everything went down. And the group wasn’t actually heckling Richards, they were just chatting during his set.
When Michael demanded to know what the room was talking about, one of the men told him he wasn’t funny. Michael then completely lost his mind and shouted the n-word repeatedly. Jamie doesn’t think their actions are equal at all.
Michael might say he doesn’t want to come back. But some people feel like if they are ready to show him that they have changed, he might give them a chance to succeed.
