Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, January 1. Kyrgyzstan produced 24.4 million cubic meters of natural gas from January to November 2024, a 0.8% decrease compared to the same period in 2023 (24.6 million cubic meters).
According to data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the country’s natural gas production in November 2024 reached 2.1 million cubic meters, a 4.5% decrease compared to the 2.2 million cubic meters produced in the same month of the previous year.
Additionally, in the first 11 months of 2024, the country produced 268,100 tons of crude oil, a 3.2% decrease compared to 277,000 tons in the same period in 2023.
However, from January to November 2024, Kyrgyzstan’s total mineral extraction amounted to 55.341 billion soms ($636 million), a 12% increase compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the volume of industrial products produced domestically from January to November 2024 amounted to more than 513 billion som (approximately 5.9 billion dollars), an increase of 104.8% compared to the same period in 2023.
