Hideo Kojima detailed several in-game events in Death Stranding 2, including a photo shoot event and an in-game dance sequence.
During the game’s special stage presentation at the Tokyo Game Show on Sunday, the director gave us a further look at the game, including an in-depth photo shoot event.
Footage of the photo shoot event (which you can see below) shows characters Tomorrow (Elle Fanning), Laney (Shioli Kutsuna), and Fragile (Lea Seydoux) posing with Cryptobiote dolls.
When players take photos, they are saved as Polaroids for later viewing.
Kojima claimed that the mod would affect the game’s story and that “it would be better to take good pictures.” How this will play out in the rest of the game is unknown.
A regular photo mode is also included in the game.
According to Kojima, the game will also include in-game dance performances by Daichi Miura, which can be triggered by performing certain movements in a private room. The dance will be performed by the group Miura and Dollman, played in the game by director Fatih Akin.
They will dance to the song ‘Horizon Dreamer’, which will be released on music sites on September 30th.
At the end of the presentation, the director claimed that Death Stranding 2 would be released in 2025.
During a special on-stage presentation for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, the director claimed that the game’s release date had been set, but that he was unable to announce it during the presentation due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
