Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is all set to return as vigilante Senapathy in Hindustani 2. The story is about the second war for independence against corruption. The actor shared a lot about the film and his incredible journey in the industry. He has been asked to direct great superstars like Shah Rukh Khan.

He recalled Hey Ram director Shah Rukh Khan and revealed that SRK produced that film for free. He said that everyone is just human when they work together. He said, “I didn’t see him as a superstar and he didn’t see me as a super director. We are friends. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan hosted Hey Ram for free. That’s not something a superstar can do, it’s something only fans and good actors can do. I am so grateful to him.”

Kamal Haasan also shared that no one knows that he was a fan of Dilip Kumar and came to Mumbai every December for Dilip Kumar’s birthday. He said that he used to come to Dilip Kumar’s hand, get down on his knees and kiss it.

During the launch, it was also revealed that after Hindustani 2, we will also be seeing Hindustani 3. Kamal Haasan has already shot for the film. Hindustani 2 is scheduled to release in theaters on July 12 and is directed by Shankar Shanmugham.
