The Dugger family now faces their worst nightmare.
Okay, I understand.
Actually the family already The family is facing their worst nightmare, considering that the oldest brother, Josh, previously admitted to cheating on his wife and molesting his sisters, which even led to the cancellation of the family’s TLC reality show a few years ago.
He was later jailed for downloading child pornography.
With the appeal now denied by the U.S. Supreme Court, In Touch Weekly’s sources tell us that Dugger is seeking revenge on those he claims to be his lovers.
“He is blaming everyone but himself for the court’s decision,” the insider claims.
“Meanwhile he wanted to write something that would expose everything, and now he has nothing to lose. They are all really afraid of him and what he can do, even if he’s behind bars!”
Josh doesn’t speak to any of his siblings at this point.
According to the information we have gathered, only his horrified parents and his wife, who was very confused and distressed, visited him in prison.
For some, it might make sense when you think about what Josh put his family through, but for a convicted pedophile, con artist, and child abuser, it doesn’t.
“His sisters just want to move on with their lives and raise their family,” In Touch continues.
“They may forgive Josh for what he did to them, but he will not forgive them for not doing enough to help him during his trial.”
Douger was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison in May 2022.
While many families expressed relief, others went even further.
“I hope he’s absolutely tortured every day,” cousin Amy Dugger told People magazine in late April, adding at the time:
“I really hope that what he saw and what he saw for his own achievements was the torture that those children experienced.”
The 37-year-old has been Josh’s most outspoken critic, and it’s been a lot of fun to watch.
Ginger Dugger, who wrote her own book last year, also expressed no sympathy for her sister in a statement released with her husband.
“We mourn the victims of this horrific child abuse,” Jinger and her spouse wrote on social media at the time.
“But even in our sorrow, there is gratitude. We are thankful that God is a just God who cares for the innocent and the helpless. And of all the people in this world, God loves especially the most vulnerable, children.
“These realities make the existence of prostitution and child abuse one of the most horrific evils imaginable. It is an evil that God hates.
We thank God for exposing Josh’s actions and the legal system for protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty in this case. We thank God for justice.
“We pray for greater justice, advocacy, protection and healing for all who have suffered injustice.”
