Of course, the Stones were 60 years old and AC/DC was 50 years old.” The E-Street Band has been around for 50 years and Bon Jovi has been around for 40 years. This is great for young bands to learn how to do this and how to navigate a long, realistic career.”
He also said that the release of JBJ’s ‘Nashville’ was “a dream of four years coming true,” and there are expectations that it will mark a milestone in music history.
“We released several albums (in Nashville), some of our biggest hits were recorded here, and we wrote countless songs here,” he recalled. “I always jokingly say, ‘These are my people,’ because the acting community is probably what we call Hollywood. These are the songwriters, these are my people. I was drawn to this community in the early 1990s. It’s here. I had friends and I thought I was really ahead.”
Now he’s amazed, “Like we said, we’re the new kids on the block and our neighbors are all incredible artists.”
