In an interview with Page Six, John said he had been in therapy for “almost 20 years.”

John recalls when he first became friends with Bob: “He was driving me crazy, and I said, ‘If you want to be my friend, you need to go to counseling.’ So he went to Stutz, and Stutz helped him.”
