President Joe Biden is taking huge steps by shielding notable figures from the new Trump administration during his final hours in the Oval Office.
Biden is using his power to pardon Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and members of Congress who serve on committees that investigated the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.
Former Vice President Biden said in a statement, “A pardon should not be misunderstood as an admission that an individual has done something wrong, and an acceptance should not be misunderstood as an admission of guilt for a crime.” “
