Elon Musk doesn’t seem to be giving Donald Trump much room, and Jimmy Fallon said the president-elect will be exhausted.
“Last night, President-elect Trump invited Jeff Bezos to Mar-a-Lago,” Fallon said on “The Tonight Show” on Thursday. “But about an hour into dinner, Elon Musk showed up and sat between them at the table.
“Even Trump said, ‘Okay, this is actually starting to surprise me. Okay, I need to make friends,’ he quipped.
“To decide who they love more, Elon and Bezos will put Trump in the middle of the room and see who he goes to first.”
President Trump dined with Amazon billionaire Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez at his Florida resort on Wednesday. Musk was not expected to attend the meeting, but joined the meal already underway, the New York Times reported. According to the Daily Beast, a guest at Mar-a-Lago claimed that Musk was between Trump and Bezos.
The SpaceX and Tesla CEO has established himself as a key figure for Trump after spending more than $200 million to help him get elected. His enormous influence and attention-getting presence has led to speculation that he will soon get on Trump’s nerves.
