Unfortunately for Jenelle Evans and her eldest child, what’s old is new again.
Last weekend, the former Teen Mom contestant reportedly called 911 after getting into a huge fight with her 15-year-old son, Jace.
According to Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jace ran away from home on Saturday night… I returned a few hours later.
(Over the past year, as many readers know by this point, Jace has left home several times.)
According to the aforementioned website, mother and son got into a “serious fight” Sunday morning, with Evans telling a 911 operator that Jace had “broken down his door, my door and the closet door.”
“Now everything in my house has been smashed and it keeps happening and the police told me yesterday (when Jace first ran away) that they wouldn’t help.” Jenelle said through tears in a recording of the call.
Later in the call, Jenelle said she thought Jace was smoking weed and “drinking behind my back,” adding that in addition to Jenelle confiscating his pocketknife, the teen’s alleged drug use played a role in causing the disturbance the previous day.
Jace allegedly acted this way in front of Jenelle’s daughter Ensley and son Kaiser, the latter of whom recently returned from Tennessee after Evans attempted to hand him over to his grandmother.
In a police incident report filed Sunday and obtained by Friends of The Ashley, Jenelle told police that Jace screamed, “Fuck you, bitch!” He got in her face and started destroying kitchen cabinets.
We’re not sure where things stand now, but “Jace has since been kicked out of Jenelle’s house and hasn’t been back since last weekend,” The Ashley wrote. “I can confirm that Jace is safe, but I won’t.” We will be returning to Jenelle’s house in the near future.”
It was so crazy and so horrible. again.
Jenelle’s mother Barbara raised Jace until March 2023. At the time, she awarded custody to Evans, who was living with her now-estranged husband, David Eason, in North Carolina at the time.
But Jace escaped on two occasions.
He also accused Eason of assault.
After the incident, Jace briefly stayed with Barbara and was placed in the custody of Child Protective Services, despite being in several facilities as well.
It wasn’t until February of this year that Jenelle regained custody of Jace. Soon after, she broke up with Eason and moved to Las Vegas with her children.
Jenelle has yet to publicly comment on the 911 call or the altercation with her son.
We often make fun of MTV’s personalities, and we may continue to do so. But the bottom line is this:
Evans is clearly struggling, and so is Jace. We sincerely wish him the best.
