TORONTO – The Blue Jays will debut their new Toronto City Connect uniforms on Friday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Rogers Centre.
Designed in collaboration with Nike, the City Connect series celebrates the history, culture and spirit of all 30 Major League Baseball teams. Dubbed “Night Mode,” Toronto’s uniforms return in dark primary colors for the first time since 2011.

The jerseys come in “Peach Blue,” “Speed Red,” and “Hyper Royal” colorways and include city skyline graphics. It features a new font inspired by the Toronto sign at Nathan Phillips Square, the team said in a release Thursday.

This is the first time since 2003 that the city’s name and number have been included on the front of Toronto’s home uniform. The jersey’s shoulders include “exaggerated” bird heads.
The City Connect hat has a “T” on the front and a maple leaf in the center.
The uniform will be worn in 15 home games throughout the regular season, the club said.
