I met Brandi Carlile in 2021 when Joni’s magic began again. Johnny was at home alone, and Brandy, a really fragile -amazing human, had this vision for Johnny Jam where people came to Johnny’s house and sang Johnny’s song. So I went to Johnny’s house and absolutely flew to arrive there. The walls of the walls and entrances with Dulcimers in the 70s were unbelievable as a huge JONI fan. Some things about JONI’s musicians have worsened. She no longer plays the guitar and the voice is lower than the octave.
