James Carville has issued his most dire and offensive prediction yet about the impact of former President Donald Trump potentially taking back the White House, warning that his political enemies will face unconstitutional arrests.
“He’s saying it right to his stupid face that he will use the military to arrest and suppress his political opponents,” the Democratic strategist argued in a Politicon video on Monday.
Carville also suggested that swing voters who are not Republicans are also at risk.
“I’m sure I and everyone else who does this for a living gets asked, ‘What about the swing voters in these states?’” he said. “Do you know where they’re all going to swing? That’s the end of your rope, isn’t it?”
While the former president has suggested that the military should deal with “radical left-wing lunatics” and anyone it deems “enemies within” if civil unrest breaks out, which could lead to his election, Cavill’s claim that voters would be hanged is surprising. Yes.
Cavill, who has been advising Vice President Kamala Harris on the sidelines of the media during the ongoing presidential campaign, also insisted that this year’s election is about more than policy.
“One candidate says we have to follow the Constitution,” he said in a Politicon video. “We must try to improve the Constitution,” he said. “Another candidate said, ‘I will tear up the Constitution…’ ‘I don’t care about people’s individual rights and I will arrest my political opponents.’”
“you’re right. “You just need to know,” he continued. “This is not an exaggeration.”
If he wins, Trump may try to jail his political rivals for a second term, as he has previously suggested.

Cavill also warned about this on this day, saying, “You better be careful.”
“And every time you have a friend, someone says, ‘Well, I’m going to vote for Trump.’ (You say) ‘To know what you’re voting for, are you really? Do you want me to go to jail? Because that’s what you’re voting for. ‘He’s talking to you,’ he added.
