Jake Paul might finally fight a professional boxer his age, with Daniel Dubois calling out Paul for a heavyweight title bout via Instagram.
Daniel Dubois calls out Jake Paul.
Jake Paul may have beaten Mike Tyson in Texas just four days ago, but it looks like he’s already found a new opponent with reigning world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois shouting ‘problem kid’.
The 27-year-old dominated ‘Iron Mike’ on Friday night and later admitted he took his time in the later rounds because Paul had no intention of hurting the injured Tyson.
Immediately after the win, Paul called out Canelo Alvarez for his next fight, which would continue his theme of fighting boxers past their prime.
However, Daniel Dubois is clearly in his prime and the current heavyweight champion will be a tough opponent for the troublemaker, who has been criticized for the quality and age of his previous opponents.
Dubois congratulated Paul on his win over Mike Tyson and officially called him out on the biggest stage.
“Hi Jake, good business this weekend. But how would you feel if you were fighting for the rightful title as the legitimate heavyweight champion of the world?

“I am Daniel Dubois calling you. Let us begin now.”
But Dubois, despite having more experience than many of Paul’s previous opponents, didn’t seem to be too phased by the Englishman and penned a cheeky reply.
“He has over 100 fights between amateur and pro and he fought on my undercard hahaha.
“But damn it, I’m going to get Nakisa (Bidarian, Paul’s advisor) to talk to Frankie Warren (Dubois’ promoter) and get you on the throne.
“Unlike Artur (Beterbiev), he has at least thousands of fans.”
With Paul calling on ‘Frankie’ Warren to get involved, there’s a real chance a fight could materialize next year and we’ll finally see a serious challenger test Paul’s record.
