Israel is reportedly moving toward a cease-fire agreement with Hezbollah in Lebanon after nearly a year of fighting escalated into full-scale war in September.
Israeli media, including YNET and Haaretz, reported that Israel has tentatively agreed to the US-backed ceasefire proposal. According to reports, no final agreement has been reached.
Lebanon and militia Hezbollah reportedly agreed to the deal last week, but the deal can only be realized once both sides give final approval.
The reported ceasefire agreement came after Hezbollah launched one of its largest rocket attacks against Israel in exchange for Israeli forces attacking Hezbollah command posts in Beirut.
