Baku, Azerbaijan, January 15. According to Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iranian President Massoud Fezeshkian is scheduled to arrive in Tajikistan for a state visit on January 15, Trend reported.
During the visit, high-level talks between Tajikistan and Iran will be held to address a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation.
As part of this visit, several new cooperation agreements are expected to be discussed and concluded. The visit will also include a trade, investment and tourism forum between the two countries.
Later this week, President Fezeshkian is scheduled to visit Russia and meet with President Putin.
The two sides are expected to sign a strategic partnership agreement in the Kremlin on January 17. Earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali announced that the agreement contains 47 articles and covers all areas of cooperation between the two countries.
