January 4, Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Iranian President Massoud Fezeshkian is scheduled to make a working visit to Tajikistan in the coming weeks, Trend reports.
Rustam Emomali, Speaker of the National Assembly of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, shared the news on social media.
According to Emomali, the visit will include meetings between the leaders of the two countries and other key negotiations.
For reference, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon made a working visit to Tehran on July 30, 2024. Additionally, from August 10, Tajikistan and Iran implemented a visa-free regime for ordinary passport holders.
This will be President Fezeshkian’s first official visit to Tajikistan.
