Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the toss and chose to bat first, with Du Plessis (25) and Kohli adding 48 runs off 23 deliveries in the opener before Natarajan dismissed the former. Kohli took them to 61/1 in the powerplay. With Kohli opting for the anchor role, the run rate has dropped.
