Inter Miami CF signed Venezuelan midfielder Telasco Segovia from Portugal’s Casa Pia AC last Friday.
Segovia, 21, is under contract through the 2029 MLS season.
He appeared in 108 games in Venezuela (Deportivo Lara), Italy (Sampdoria), and Portugal, scoring 9 goals and 20 assists.
“We are delighted to have signed a promising young midfielder like Telasco Segovia,” said Inter Miami President of Football Operations Raul Sanllehi. “He will provide us with quality depth in midfield that will be key for the 2025 season, when Inter Miami will compete in several tournaments both domestically and internationally.”
Segovia has appeared in eight games for the Venezuelan national team, scoring one goal.
“I am delighted to be at a great club like Inter Miami. I come with the desire to help the team win several titles and contribute both offensively and defensively,” Segovia said.
“I want to tap into my potential and continue to grow in this great institution and in this highly competitive league, MLS. It’s a dream to come here and I’m excited to achieve big things at Inter Miami.”
The reigning Supporters’ Shield winners begin the MLS regular season on February 22 against New York City FC.
