All Vial Locations
There are 15 vials in Vatican City. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It only pops up after you start the A Remedy for All side quest, but you’ll also need to do the A Nun in Trouble and The Mad Priest quests to access some of them. We’ve marked all the bottle locations on the map below, and if you’re having trouble accessing them, we’ve put more detailed instructions below.
1.
You can obtain Guiliana’s Key by completing the A Nun in Trouble mystery. Go down the Borgia Tower and find a gap where you can whip over to open the door with the new key. The bottle is right in front of the crate in the corner.
2.
During The Mad Priest side quest, you receive the Sewer Key and are sent below the city through the Tower of Nicholas V. Go through the locked door, then climb up and across the upper area to the ledge that leads to the stairs. Go up to the palace. The bottle is under these stairs.
3.
Go behind the post office building and look for the bottle sitting on a wooden bench.
4.
Starting from the Belvedere Courtyard, follow the road down towards the Post Office until you reach a short alley on the right. The bottle is next to a closed door at the end of the table.
5.
Enter the Blackshirt’s tent at the entrance to Via Di Belvedere. Among the belongings on the long table is a medicine bottle.
6.
Climb the scaffolding of the church under construction near the Borgia courtyard. Use the chandelier to get to the window and balcony, then go to the left platform to the rooftop where there is a guard posted near a bottle.
7.
From the Borgia Courtyard, head east from the entrance towards the Apostolic Palace. Find the area where the construction workers are stationed and find the bottle in one of the barrels on the first floor.
8.
To enter the Blackshirt Barracks, sneak in or disguise yourself. When you go upstairs, the bottle is in a room right next to the stairs leading from the first floor.
9.
Head to the south side of the Nicholas V tower and look for the stairs leading up to Passetto di Borgo. Use this vial to go all the way to Castel Sant’Angelo and up another set of stairs to a dead end.
10.
Go through the main gate of the Apostolic Palace through the Borgia Courtyard and sneak/fight the many guards inside to get to the center of the room under the stairs. The bottle sits in a small work area set up here.
11.
While you’re at the Apostolic Palace, make your way up to the top floor, where you’ll find the bright green room. The guards are outside, so you can either fight your way past them or sneak across the balcony through the adjacent room. Either way, the vial is attached to the wall of one of the desks.
12.
Return to the construction site outside the palace, enter the wooden shed and pick up the bottle on the bench below the bulletin board.
13.
You can’t get this bottle until you’ve progressed through the main story enough to meet Gina. After leaving Underworld, use the zip line from the balcony to move to the nearby rooftop. From here, find a hole in the fence and enter the tent where a group of guards are stripping and washing themselves. The bottle is on the bench next to the disguise where you can filter it out if you haven’t already.
14.
Make good use of your disguise to sneak into the restricted area north of the Belvedere Courtyard and hug the southern fence to find an opening you can sneak through and enter the tent. The bottle is on a table in the center of the room.

Here you can get level 1, 2 or 3 of each book type, but each book costs 5, 10 or 15 bottles. This means that you won’t be able to get everything just from the bottles found in this area.
