Team India, coming off a 100-run win in their previous match, are all set to take on Zimbabwe in the 3rd T20I of the ongoing series. The India vs Zimbabwe 3rd T20I is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, July 10.
Shubman Gill took charge of the Indian team in the series. He lost the opening match but came back in the next match under his leadership. Below, we take a look at the expected Indian XI for the 3rd T20I.

Shubman Road (C)
Shubman Gill is leading India in the IND vs ZIM T20I series and will be the captain and opener in the next match as well. He did not perform well in the last match but scored a crucial 31 in the first match which was a defeat.
Abhishek Sharma
Abhishek Sharma will surely be India’s second opener in the next match after scoring a flawless century in the last match. The left-handed batsman smashed 100 runs in 47 balls with seven fours and a six.
Ruturaj Gaikwad
Ruturaj Gaikwad will be looking to get the No. 1 spot in the third T20I between India and Zimbabwe after his stunning batting performance in the last match. The right-handed batsman scored an unbeaten 77 off 47 runs.

Sai Sudarsan
Sai Sudharsan will also bat in the middle order in the 3rd T20I against Zimbabwe. The left-handed batsman was benched in the 1st T20I and did not get a chance in the previous match. Therefore, he deserves another chance as he is only in the team for 3 matches.
Ryan Parag
Riyan Parag will bat in the lower order and will be the team’s heavy hitter. He was out cheaply in single figures in the opening T20I and did not get a chance to bat in the last match. So, he will be aiming for a spectacular show this time.
Linku Singh
Rinku Singh delivered what he is known for in the last match. The left-handed batsman hit an unbeaten 48 off 22 balls, five sixes and batted at a stunning strike rate of 218+ in the last match.
Jitesh Sharma (WK)
Captain Shubman Gill may allow Jitesh Sharma to play in the 3rd T20I against Zimbabwe. Dhruv Jurel was selected for the first two games. Sharma will be replaced by Sanju Samson for the last two games and the 3rd T20I is the only game he could play in the series.

Washington Sundar
Washington Sundar will be the spin all-rounder in India’s No. 11 batsman. The right-handed batsman scored 27 runs in the first match and was not given a chance to bat in the second T20I. He also handled the ball well and took one and two wickets in the two matches respectively.
Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi will lead Team India’s spin attack in the next match as well. The right-arm spinner took four wickets in the first match and two wickets in the second.
Abesh Khan
Avesh Khan had a sensational performance in the previous T20I, taking 3 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs. He will be retained in the XI after his sensational performance.
Mukesh Kumar
Mukesh Kumar is another bowler who took three wickets in the last match. The right-arm seamer took two important wickets in the opening over to dismantle Zimbabwe’s top batting order. Kumar will once again lead India’s pace attack.
