Pakistan’s middle-order batsman Iftikhar Ahmed was brutally criticized for his no-look shot during the Global T20 Canada 2024 match between Bangladesh Tigers Mississauga and Montreal Tigers. Iftikhar Ahmed has played stylish no-look shots, but has failed to get the boundary line in recent T20 matches.
Iftikhar Ahmed is not going through a difficult time in his cricket career at the moment. Known for his incredible sixes, Iftikhar has been struggling to hit boundaries in competitive cricket lately. The middle-order batsman’s recent failures have put his international cricket career in jeopardy.
Ahmed failed to make an impact in the 2024 T20 World Cup, where Pakistan were knocked out in the group stage. Iftikhar was given a NOC by the PCB to participate in the Global T20 Canada despite his poor performance. It is noteworthy that Pakistan denied NOCs to Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi.
