Former Roma manager Jose Mourinho has recalled the difficulties he faced during his three-year spell in the Italian capital.
Mourinho spoke to Manchester City manager and historic rival Pep Guardiola about the English club’s transfer deals.
“Pep and I have worked together for three years. I was an assistant and he was a player. I like him a lot, he knows that. He likes me and he knows there are no problems between us.”
“Our words and feelings are different.”
“It is not true that we want Manchester City to be relegated, but it is true that we want justice.”
He continued: “Small clubs are often penalized 5 to 10 euros for exceeding their budget and FFP regulations. “I suffered for three years in Rome because of my limitations.”
“I don’t think it’s right that these big financial sharks are always looking for ways to break away from the rules. I’m just a soccer fanatic, I love soccer. “I like the definition of football.”
