Washington has prepared his second Trump for four years. But is there a signal that the president’s political opponents didn’t do homework?
In the first week, President Donald Trump issued a subsequent administrative order, including DEI, federal labor, and birth rights. He challenged the parliamentary procedures and fired 18 inspectors. And finally, this Monday, his administration shocked the country with OMB Memo M-25-13.
Trump clearly tests the limits of his power. Big questions are now: What is his grand strategy? Where do he think he can win, and where do he meet the campaign that the court will strike?
Where is the resistance? What is the Democratic Party’s plan to counterattack, and which Republicans will be thorns on their side?
To answer these questions, some of the top -of -the -job experts in Politico were assembled at the three branches of the government for the roundtable meeting at the Playbook Deep Dive Podcast. Joining the show is Rachael Bade, chief of Capitol Hill Bureau and chief Washington columnist. Senior employee writer and legal columnist, ankush khardori; Eugene Daniels, a deep sea dive host, a correspondent of the best playbook and a White House correspondent.
