“It’s been fun to mock and heal the whole breakup thing in this situation, but I’m not trying to disparage everything he’s accomplished in his career. If I were a ‘known’ person, it would be standard breakup news, but I’m virtually unknown, so the complexities of this are more I think it’s hierarchical and people are interested in understanding what that experience was like and I’ve always been happy and I hope that people who hear my story feel empowered to share theirs as well.
