In a recent interview, Yuvraj Singh revealed that he had to wear women’s slippers due to the behavior of a Bollywood actress during her tour Down Under in 2008. He told the Club Prairie Fire podcast (via ABP):
“She was filming in Adelaide. I told her that I was on tour in Australia and that we needed to stop seeing each other for a while and focus. She followed me by bus to Canberra. In the two Tests I didn’t score many runs. And I thought, ‘What are you doing here?’ And she said, ‘I want to spend time with you.’”
He continued:
“I told her you need to focus on your career and I need to focus on mine because I’m on tour in Australia. You know what that means. Anyway, we were going to leave from Canberra to Adelaide and she “I’ve packed my suitcase.”
“In the morning I was like, ‘Where are my shoes?’ She said, ‘I packed them.’ I said, ‘How do I get on the bus?’ And she said, ‘Put mine on.’ He was wearing pink slip-ons and I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ I should have been wearing pink slip-ons, but when I tried to hide the bag in front of my shoes, the guys started clapping and I wore pink slip-ons. at the airport “I went there and fell.”
