The Summer Olympics are back, and rights holder NBC is expanding its broadcast coverage compared to past games.
First, it’s creating more content. The 2024 Summer Olympics will provide more programming hours on NBC than ever before, the company says. Second, it’s beefing up Peacock, NBC’s online streaming app, to include all of NBC’s programming. — It’s the first service for Summer Games and has a variety of personalized recommendation tools. And like most other streaming services, Peacock has raised its price from $4.99 for the last Winter Games to $7.99. (You’ll need Premium Plus for $13.99 per month to watch with minimal ads.)
