Here’s how to pre-order the new PS5 Pro PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, which is expected to be in high demand.
First, let’s get the point across. The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Edition celebrates 30 years of PlayStation gaming. Sony will be celebrating this milestone with an all-new 30th Anniversary-themed console for this generation of PlayStation consoles, which includes a makeover of the regular PS5, PS5 Pro, DualSense, DualSense Edge, and PlayStation Portal.
As with all limited edition items, and especially this one, the scumbags will be out to get their hands on one quickly. But here’s how to pre-order a PS5 or PS5 Pro from the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, which goes on sale for pre-order on September 26, 2024.

Luckily, PlayStation has already revealed where you can pre-order the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection. But PlayStation never keeps it simple, so there are some limitations.
PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Purchase Information
In regions where direct.playstation.com* is available, players with a PlayStation Network account can pre-order the following PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection products, exclusively on PlayStation, from September 26. In regions where direct.playstation.com is not available, pre-orders will open at participating retailers from September 26.
- PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
- PlayStation Portal Remote Player – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition (Standalone)
- DualSense Edge Wireless Controller – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition (Standalone)
In regions where direct.playstation.com is available, players with a PlayStation Network account can pre-order the following PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection products directly from PlayStation from September 26, as well as at additional participating retailers listed below.
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
- Pre-orders at participating retailers begin October 10.
- DualSense Wireless Controller – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition (Standalone)
- Pre-orders begin September 26 at participating retailers.
According to PlayStation, direct.playstation.com is available in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Austria.
TL:DR—Americans can pre-order the entire PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection from direct.playstation.com starting September 29, 2024, but other countries may have to rely on participating retailers. PlayStation hasn’t announced those retailers yet, but bookmark this article and we’ll update it soon.
